Tyler Glasnow said he struggled with timing and feel during his start against the Miami Marlins on September 11, 2026.

“I was kind of off from the beginning,” Glasnow said, adding that he felt better in the third and fourth innings before losing his feel again in the fifth. “I'm just kind of struggling to find it right now.”

Glasnow explained that the issue felt mechanical and related to timing rather than fatigue or a back problem. “I just think it was bad timing,” he said, while noting, “I didn't feel tired or anything,” and “Feels good” when discussing his back.

He tried to adjust his delivery during the outing by “Just trying to move a bit quicker and get my glove arm a little higher.” Glasnow described the temporary fix by saying, “I kind of put a band-aid on it,” before the uncomfortable feeling returned.

Glasnow stated that he plans to work with the Dodgers pitching coaches to identify the issue and focus on competing rather than searching for his mechanics. “working with uh pitching coaches and just trying to figure it out,” he said, describing the season as a process in which “sometimes you're good, you're timed up, you feel good.”

Glasnow said he wants to identify the problem, make adjustments and be ready for his next start, adding, “hopefully next start it'll be good.”
