“This is where you want to be at throughout the year,” Tucker said. The celebration was his first division-title celebration, and Dodgers teammates supported him by bringing him into the on-field festivities and pouring champagne on him. “I just got a whole champagne bottle dumped on me,” Tucker noted.

Tucker stated that the Dodgers' goal from the first day of spring training was to reach and win the World Series: “From day one of spring training, we know our goal is to get to World Series and win it.” He added that the division title was one achievement along the way, saying, “You just got to celebrate each moment.”

The outfielder also praised the group’s approach through the season. “Everyone supports each other through the ups and downs,” he explained.

Tucker addressed a play in which he tried to advance to third against the Cincinnati Reds, saying, “I tried my best. I don't think I was going to get there.” He also stated, “I probably would have been thrown out halfway.” The Dodgers will continue toward their stated World Series objective, with Tucker noting, “There's a lot of steps and a lot of games before we get to that point.”
