“We're looking to win another 11 games for us to make history,” Rojas said. He added that the Dodgers aim to maintain momentum into the postseason by playing through the final out and continuing to win, while seeking to “do something really cool about our legacies and the city of LA.”

Rojas noted that the five workout days can benefit the team through feedback from teammates, shared cage work and facing Dodgers pitchers. Dodgers players can also discuss pitch movement and approaches against right- and left-handed hitters with those pitchers.

Rojas stated that the Dodgers plan to spend three or four weeks together and make a full commitment to finishing the season. He referenced the Dodgers’ previous postseason situation, when they lacked home-field advantage and did not receive a bye, and said they are excited about having more home games. A reporter said that 4 million fans attended Dodgers games during the regular season.

Rojas described an emotional broadcast moment but said he feels good after the Dodgers finished the season strongly. The Dodgers will pursue the remaining 11 victories while their players use the workout period to prepare together.
