Miguel Rojas said on October 8, 2026, that the Los Angeles Dodgers advanced to another series and are eight wins away from winning the World Series.
“Being eight wins away to winning a World Series is a privilege,” Rojas said. He credited the Dodgers’ advancement to a team effort and praised the Atlanta Braves’ organization for the series, saying, “It’s a team effort.” The Los Angeles Dodgers faced the Atlanta Braves, and Rojas plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Rojas pointed to the Dodgers’ offensive approach as a path toward their goal: “That approach is going to take us to where we want to get.” He highlighted “putting the approach together getting the advance that we got” as important to the team’s success.
Rojas also credited Tyler Glasnow, who pitched for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the pitching staff for consistently giving the team opportunities to win, saying, “Glasno and the pitching staff always giving the opportunity.”
Rojas acknowledged the need for humility because baseball is difficult and circumstances can change at any point: “You always want to stay humble.” He added, “We don’t take it for granted,” referring to the Dodgers’ opportunity to continue pursuing a World Series. During the celebration, he joked, “I’m trying to stay calm and it can’t be jumping around.”
