Tyler Glasnow described his preparation for facing the Milwaukee Brewers on October 14, 2026.
Glasnow said he would rely on his usual process while preparing for each Brewers hitter. “Each hitter has its own individual game plan,” he said, adding that he would also try to control the running game.
He evaluated Milwaukee as a versatile lineup that combines speed, contact, small-ball elements and home-run power, stating, “There's so many guys that can do so many different things.” Glasnow also said he learned from the Brewers’ long at-bats and contact-oriented approach against earlier Los Angeles Dodgers pitchers, citing “Those long at bats, Bowers long at bat, things like that.”
In high-pressure situations, Glasnow explained that he tries not to feed the adrenaline and instead returns to a normal, consistent feeling. He recalled that when he was younger, he imagined being able to throw 105 mph if he tried hard, saying, “I can throw like 105 if I try hard.”
Glasnow expressed confidence in Blake Snell, saying, “He knows what makes him good and he sticks to it.” He also described Shohei Ohtani as consistent in his preparation, while noting that teammates maintain normal conversations with Ohtani because “It's just business as usual and a lot of smiles.” Glasnow's stated plan is to settle in, follow his preparation and use individual game plans against the Brewers lineup.
