Milwaukee trailed for most of the night before a two-out rally in the eighth inning turned this one their way. The Brewers beat the Twins 4-3, with the go-ahead run scoring on a play that came only after Minnesota had erased an early deficit and taken control in the second inning.

Brice Turang carried the Milwaukee offense, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. He drove in the tying runs in the fourth inning with a single to right that brought home both Vaughn and Yelich, pulling the Brewers even at 3-3. Turang was named the game's MVP for his effort at the plate.
The decisive sequence came in the eighth. With the score tied 3-3, Vaughn singled to right field and Lockridge scored, putting Milwaukee ahead 3-4 for good.
