George Klassen worked six innings for Los Angeles, allowing 2 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits with 5 strikeouts and a walk. It was enough to secure his first win of the season. Ben Joyce closed it out with a scoreless ninth, striking out one and picking up his first save. Mike Trout drove in a pair of runs, going 3-for-5 with singles that plated runners in both the third and sixth innings.
The Angels tied it in the sixth when Siri doubled to left and Grissom scored, pulling Los Angeles level at 2-2. Guzman then delivered the go-ahead run with a sacrifice bunt that brought Siri home, putting the Angels in front for good.
