Blaze Jordan powered the Cardinals with a three-run homer in the second. Gordon Graceffo then anchored the effort with a scoreless relief outing, while Luis Gastelum earned the win and Riley O'Brien recorded the save.

Jordan’s homer brought Alec Burleson and Joshua Báez home and gave St. Louis the lead. Ramón Urías later homered with Burleson scoring, and Nathan Church’s single brought Urías across the plate in the eighth to extend the margin.

Baltimore threatened late. Coby Mayo’s homer brought Christian Encarnacion-Strand and Dylan Beavers home in the seventh, and Gunnar Henderson’s double brought Jackson Holliday across in the eighth. Trevor Rogers was charged with the loss after St. Louis built its early advantage.

The Cardinals extended their winning streak, while the Orioles saw their losing streak continue. In a game shaped by a late rally, St. Louis had just enough margin to keep Baltimore at bay.
