Alejandro Kirk drove Toronto’s attack, homering in the third with George Springer scoring and later adding a run-scoring single that brought Vladimir Guerrero Jr. home. Brett Bateman also homered in the third after helping start the scoring with a run in the opening inning.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s first-inning double brought Brett Bateman home and put Toronto in front. Kirk followed by bringing Guerrero home, and the Blue Jays continued the surge when Bateman homered and Kirk’s homer scored Springer. Andrés Giménez later doubled to bring Josh Smith home, while Ernie Clement’s sacrifice fly brought Guerrero across the plate.

Kyle Bradish was charged with the loss after Toronto broke through against him early. Spencer Arrighetti earned the win for Toronto, allowing an unearned run during his start. Alonso’s homer, which also scored Yohel Pozo, was Baltimore’s clearest answer, but the Orioles could not sustain the rally.

Toronto’s early burst gave its bullpen room to protect the lead and extend the Blue Jays’ winning streak. Baltimore’s late push changed the mood, but not the outcome.
