Josh Jung was the centerpiece for Texas, providing the early offensive spark and reaching base throughout the game. Corey Seager later added another important contribution with a home run.

Francisco Lindor scored when Carson Benge singled on a line drive to right fielder Brandon Nimmo in the opening inning. Josh Jung then homered on a fly ball to left field, with Justin Foscue scoring, giving Texas the lead. In the sixth, Corey Seager homered on a fly ball to right field to extend it.

Kumar Rocker earned the win after a strong start for Texas. Tyler Alexander, Chase Silseth and Robert Garcia each followed with scoreless relief, and Jordan Montgomery closed the game with a scoreless ninth.

The Rangers’ early response and controlled finish defined the night. New York found the opening run, but Texas’ first-inning power and late pitching turned the game into a measured win.
