Colorado starter G. Hughes lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 4 hits with 7 strikeouts, carrying a 4.25 ERA. Rays starter Freddy Peralta had a rougher outing, allowing 7 runs on 9 hits over 3.2 innings. Tampa Bay's bullpen was the difference in the end, combining for 7.1 scoreless innings behind Peralta. Bryan Baker earned his 32nd save with a scoreless inning, and Garrett Cleavinger picked up the win.
