A late rally was not enough for Texas as the Minnesota Twins held on against the Rangers. Dean Kremer anchored the win with a sharp outing, while Josh Bell’s swing supplied the lead Minnesota never relinquished.

Bell opened the scoring with a sacrifice fly and later homered after Danny Jansen had tied the game for Texas. Royce Lewis added another homer, and Kremer kept the Rangers quiet through his departure.

Josh Bell’s homer brought Luke Keaschall home and gave Minnesota the lead after the game had been tied. Ryan Jeffers later brought Walker Jenkins across on a walk, Kody Clemens brought Luke Keaschall home with a single, and Lewis homered in the eighth to extend the lead.

Texas showed life late. Elias Díaz homered in the eighth, and Corey Seager’s homer brought Brandon Nimmo home in the ninth, but the Rangers could not complete the comeback. Chase Silseth took the loss after the Twins broke through against him.

Minnesota extended its winning streak, but the game’s defining feature was the late rally Texas could not finish. The Twins had enough offense behind Kremer’s controlled start to keep the margin intact.
