Oakland led for four innings. Texas led for the only three that mattered. The Rangers erased a three-run deficit built on Henry Bolte's early homer, then pulled away in the sixth inning behind Wyatt Langford's go-ahead blast, holding on for a 5-3 win over the Athletics.

Bolte carried Oakland's offense with a 3-for-5 night, a homer and 3 RBI. His three-run shot to left in the second inning, which came around after an umpire review overturned the initial call on the field, sent Serven and Williams home and staked J. T. Ginn to a 3-0 cushion. It was the loudest swing of the night for the home team, but it wasn't enough to hold up.
Texas chipped away steadily. In the fifth, Lopez singled to center to bring home Burger and cut the deficit to 3-1. In the sixth, Seager's single to center scored Nimmo to make it 3-2, and two batters later Langford turned the game with a two-run homer to left center, plating Seager and putting Texas ahead 4-3 for good. Kelenic added an insurance run in the ninth with a single to center that brought home Carter.
Ginn took the loss despite seven strikeouts over 6.0 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits with no walks. MacKenzie Gore worked 5.2 innings for the win, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts, and Jacob Metz closed it out with 2.0 scoreless innings for his 24th save. The Texas bullpen was spotless across the final innings, combining for 3.1 innings without allowing a run.
The win moved Texas to 61-63, snapping nothing but extending its momentum with a second straight win. Oakland fell to 48-75 with the loss, its streak now at one.
